    Hi Guys

Wanted to see if anyone knows about the Alamanda School Zone and if people value living in the area due to the school zone. Properties are a bit overpriced in this area just due to the school zone. Is the extra price worth it from anyone's knowledge and experience?

    Thanks

Well, I dont have a personal experience. But, all of my 'Indian' friends swear by Alamanda school. Even ones who still building their houses there. They all want to live in the school zone driving the prices really high. I would check other school rankings and not just follow the herd.
But, thats just me not being in your shoes.
sorry, I am not sure if I was helpful.

In my opinion, prices are overpriced due to the school zone. Someone I know sent their kid to that school, then pulled out after a 2-3 years, now send her to a school in Newport where they are way happier. They reckon the school's overrated.

Thanks, was really helpful. Similar feedback from people I have spoken to. School zones at the end of the day matter. I used to live in Mt Waverley and Glen Waverley and similar stuff happens there

If it is an investment. Why would you bother spending more?

Do you get a comparatively high rental?

Is the difference worth spending more?

Committing from point cook is also a concern.

    Regards

Rental is comparitively high. Yes agree commuting from Pt Cook is a concern, but most ppl in my or similar situation would take that hit in lieu of a good education for kids.

But it's worth getting everyone's feedback.
