    With remote blinds, just make sure you're on good terms with a repair person - we have four at all various stages the remotes stop working... so annoying and you can't even pull it down manually!!

    I would recommend Shutters Dept in Melbourne. They are an online supplier who helped me with the plantation shutters in my new bathroom renovation. Cost about $250 incl. delivery for the shutters you see in the picture, measuring about 930mm x 990mm. They look high quality and were a breeze to install.

    Yes, I've seen them too. They are a good idea but look ugly at the front of the house :(
