Of course - anything is possible :)

While you're at it - maybe look into getting the same flooring that they've used in this little gem - 73 Burn Street, Downer, ACT 2602 - Property Details

Yes! It's on the upswing for sure - it has been for a while now. I still see a bit more growth in this current cycle.

This area where that particular property is located is only 4kms from the CBD - so while it looks small/old that block of land should do well overtime.

That particular suburb (Downer) is currently going through gentrification. Plenty of knock down/rebuilds, small developments and renovations. Lots of young families and professionals moving in. They've just had a few $1m sales in the area - a barrier which hadn't been broken until now. I predict there will be plenty more to come!

It used to be one of the more affordable suburbs in the inner North - but buyers are starting to realise just how well it's positioned (close to Dickson which is a large shopping/restaurant precinct which is going to be rejuvenated soon) and only a short drive down Northbourne Avenue to the City Centre. There are bike paths that take you all the way in - so a nice/easy commute for those that work in the City.

    Cheers

    Jamie
