Phone Calls from lender ( NAB ) to see how I am .....

    I'm a customer of the National Bank.

    They ring me up regularly - like every 6 -12 months.

    To see how I'm going or is everything OK .... or that's what they say when they ring me .

    Anyway Ive decided i will always ask for fee removal reduction interest rate reduction every time they ring.

    1) My account had $395 year professional package fee.

    I told them I did not want to pay that - its now gone.

    2) I asked for lower rates on my three 20 K LOCs was paying 5.5 now reduced to 5.05

    3) My Home loan of 170K reduced to 4.05%

    So I thought it was worthwhile for asking.

    My argument was I have a very low LVR so must be a low risk customer for them ...

    Curious, was this a direct to bank loan or introduced by a broker?
