QLD Peter Thornhill Brisbane meetup

Peter Thornhill is going to go up to Brisbane to host a day of learning, if there's the interest! I asked him if he would and he said yes... easier/more cost effective for him to go up there rather than have lots of Brisbanites come down to Sydney.

Mods: Not sure if I'm allowed to promote, but let me say it's more a service to the PC community than any kind of attempt to spruik given the huge thread the man has generated without even being on the forum!

There will be a charge to attend.

Anyway, if the thread isn't allowed, interested parties are welcome to contact me individually.

 

Depending how things are on the home front, I am interested in attending.

I better quickly buy and read his book .

 

Totally ok to go in without reading first! As long as you can enjoy looking at a graph or two, you'll love it.

 

Maybe I'll have to make a trip to Brisbane...

Good stuff. I believe he is worth every cent... His presentation was clear cut to me. I hadn't been a share investor before (well, previous to the GFC yes... not so much in recent years) but all I needed to see was this. I work with logic... and this really is logical.

Hi Everybody,
I've finally gotten a response back from Peter and he says "April is mostly clear". At this point in time I have no preference on dates except that I personally can't do the weekend of the 1st and 2nd and I think 15th/16th would not be ideal being Easter. Which leaves 8th, 22nd or 29th as the next options in April.
Preferences?

 

The weekend of the 29th is a long weekend - already made plans to go away (we get so few long weekends).

If it's the weekend of the 8th, definitely count me in. May even be able to source a venue for you, if you need one.

 

I forgot... Anzac day is the 25th. I think the 8th is the best!

Venue... yes please, that would be awesome....

 

The 22nd or 29th would suit me. I cannot do the 8th

@Gockie how people do you need to make the trip feasible?

 

But that's also middle of school hols, so some PC-ers may be away.

25th is a Tuesday - so technically not a long weekend....... 22nd could be an option......

 

Ta Player. Ok maybe i'll try the 22nd. Peter spoke on front of a group of around 30 in Sydney so I think 25-30 would be a good number.

 

Didn't even know this thread was going as I only usually look at other assets section of forum.

Wonder if Peter would let me in for free given the number of people I've encouraged to buy his book and attend his course over the years?

If I did go someone would need to wake me up regularly during the course. I think I've looked at Peter's charts more than he has.

Oh oh that reminds me, has anyone seen these before:

Does anyone have a date and location and price because any of those dates are fine by me,will see you there maybe not the front row but you can see everything everyone from the r/h back seat,maybe he can sign his book that now sits on my work desk..
