Can someone please share My Say 67 in full? I have tried to add myself to the distribution list countless times yet I never seem to receive it directly. The website still hasn't been updated since Jan...
@Redwing can you please help me out?

More than likely but the question "Did he enjoy it?" is yet to be answered.

What does that have to do about ETF structure?

Last I checked WXHG is an ETF and didn’t suffer this issue on June 30. It is about registration for ToFA rather than being an ETF

i'm out of touch with AMIT but isn't this article a bit deceiving? Ok a given unit holder is no longer impacted by other unit holders selling actions but if the fund generates CG through high turnover doesn't this still has to be distributed to the unit holder in that FY?

PT complains about a 7% reduction in share price in the hedged Vanguard fund, where do I go to complain about the -6.68% and -4.09% reduction in the value of my Whitefield holding over the past two weeks? At least with the hedged Vanguard fund, I received a distribution of 7% to offset the reduction (yes tax payable but at worse a 3.5% reduction after tax), with Whitefield, I don't receive anything to offset the ~11% reduction. Tell me again how LICs are better (note my comments aren't against the structure, rather the management team who chose not to undertake a renounceable rights issue).

    Peter who?

Never hear about him anywhere else. Why the fascination on this site? Was he an old member or something.

Spot on, and given Vaneck’s whole business is niche and thematic products (they don’t have any broad cap weighted index ETFs), I’d bet their turnover is generally higher across the board.

I am not smart enough to work out which is better LICs or ETFs - so I own both.

And I am so dumb I own direct shares as well.

Same with property and shares - I am not smart enough to work out which is better.

And I am so dumb I own REITs as well.

I will leave it to smarter people than me to continue both debates :p.
