Did Peter go into detail with any other topics or expand further on the topics discussed in this thread as well as his book or was it just plain vanilla same themes same topics see you at the next presentation style?

I'd consider that too. Could do with a 3-4 day trip to QLD. August to September timeframe would work.

The main benefit of attending is the enthusiasm in his delivery and his presentation style. He responds to Q&A well and this can take the discussion on interesting tangents. If you've seen his series of YouTube videos, his presentation style is quite different to that and more animated in a presentation setting. Makes it quite entertaining and memorable. The anecdotes are great too.

Sounds like a Triple-M weekend is in order (3M = Maleny, Montville & Mapleton) ;)

What i would really love is an intensive weekend of interesting speakers on a panel on a range of topics: early retirement, property, shares, etc...no agenda and nothing to sell kind of sharing of knowledge.

Throw in bushwalk , BBQ, movie night , barn dance in a more rural setting...

Hang on! am i getting carried away?

Ahhh, if @austing's hideaway is Maleny, beautiful location when I was up there 2 weeks ago (before the current rain). Thriving little metropolis too!

115 sq metres. Every time we have to oil it I wish it was only 5 sq metres:

Struth I go out for the day and miss all the action. Getting the wife set up for all grain "Brew in a Bag" home brewing.

I told the boss what was suggested. She said yeah, no worries. Provided I was fine with a divorce:eek:. No doubt she's worried about a rowdy mob up here trying to steal her home brew.

With contributions reserving you may be able to make current concessional contribution of $35k plus $25k from next year. Good for reducing lumpy CGT in a given year.

Times running out and this should be done with the help of a SMSF professional.

At 400 bucks a pop with about 30 attendees if I were taking the course I'm sure I would present with an abundance of enthusiasm too! Lol! :p

Just wondering if PT expanded on any additional topics at all!

I'm also somewhat struggling to see the value in paying $400 for the course. I feel like the essential topics have already been covered within a couple of threads here.

Or maybe I've just been reading to much on MrMoneyMustache site lol

It's in the delivery of content. And lots of people will struggle with reading the LIC thread from scratch. I did.

If @austing veranda is out - then perhaps a great location near the beach on the sunny coast?
