    Hi all.
Thought I'd drag this thread up as I'm now looking for new management on a couple of properties. Duncraig and Maylands areas. Not really into managing "managers".
    Any recommendations out there ?

Hi all, I too would like to drag this up again. I have been speaking with a few companies of late but also thought I would ask for recommendations if anyone has any brilliant PM's they don't mind sharing? North Perth (suburb) area

Why these replies of "PM me for details" ??
Why can't you post the recommended details here in a simple reply for us all to see ?

    I agree.

I currently use Cherry Property Management. They're busy but good on the whole and a flat fee which I love. Not perfect, but definitely not awful and not charging 14% like many seem to be these days! :)

I can see people would want to keep details to themselves. If they post a PM name it could spark some trolling. Best not to.

I'd be interested to hear peoples' opinions or perceptions on why PM fees are so much higher in Perth. I have a few ideas but I'd like to hear from people who are paying them to see whether there is any additional value.

No additional value that I can see.

Yeah if anything, less value. From what I've seen, the typical WA PM is less professional than their eastern states counterparts.

I know things are changing - but the wages for semi-skilled, but highly competent, staff in Perth is higher than in other states because of the mining industry. This increases the cost of doing business for a lot of operators.

It is the same argument as why we will pay $5 for a flat white.

I really have no other idea why the costs would be higher. I do not see any change to the pricing for my current properties even though wages have fallen.

    Exactly why I do it.

Someone may have had a bad experience with that person / company / business and jump in and tear them to shreds and they have no opportunity to defend them selves.

I find that when people have bad experiences it is often them that contributed to it due to how they operate. Not always the case but often.
