OK, this may not be a bargain, but could come in as good value.

    https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-nedlands-134976022

Brand new, quality builder, decent land component, no strata fees.

    Comparing it (positively) to:

    https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-mount+claremont-136177134

Which has offers in the same price range.

Or compared to some high end apartments in Nearby suburbs which are more expensive, strata fees, apartment living.

If you’re looking to downsize, I know which I would rather.

The draw card may be Nedlands but just have a quick look at what you can buy within Perth 10km for $1.4mil. There are hundreds of better value opportunities in my opinion depending on the end goal and definition of good value to a person.

I wish I could be bothered moving and making some modifications to live here with all our cars, trailer, boat. The Bassendean pub has new successful entertainment/restaurant/pub owners and is getting a major reno. Short drive to new Bayswater station. If the kids ever moved out there is development opportunities! https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-bayswater-136430406

I followed my excellent Dr around from Bayswater to Landsdale to Darch before he retired so visited the suburb for years. It’s a nice, safe, family suburb with lots of parks. Everyone I’ve met who lives their likes living their. I’m not that keen on the newer estates being built as the land and streets are quite small. The homes built around 25 years ago? around the doctors surgery (Kingsway, Queensway Rd) were nice, quality homes on big blocks. Even some of the houses built around 15 years ago off Hepburn Ave are nice streets with decent sized blocks. I think it’s good value. So much better than Ballajura.

    *Personal opinion alert*

I absolutely hate that style of 'victorian' furniture...is that what its called? Anyway huge house and im sure not many like it. seems a bit all over the place? Could do with some serious interior design IMO

Haha, it was a joke! No I’m not a fan of huge houses - more to clean. Yes it was a bit harsh on the eyes!

There used to be a lot of market gardens and nurseries in Landsdale. Maybe a bit of old Italian influence?

It got worse with each pic.

Where do you even buy that furniture?

I have never seen breakfast bar stools like it!!!

Oh my goodness! I couldn't resist taking a look, I am glad I am not mopping the floors!
Must add that a couple of pretty high end houses in my area have gone on the market in the last fortnight and boom, sold, not even under offer.
