Dreaming if anyone thinks the bottom is in.

No way. Another 18 months yet minimum.

I wouldn't expect anything terribly good. I would go spend the same amount of money somewhere else. People will always happily drive to DFO and Costco so they aren't much of an investment lure.

Agreed, only OO appeal really no good for IP and no way of creating equity hence why I didn't bother.

Have this one on my watch list but 2 beds scare me......46 Stockdale Crescent, Wembley Downs, WA 6019
On paper though 11km from cbd, 1.6km from the coast, 3.5km from Scarborough promenade....have a look at street view and then notice the door on the left in the carport...is it just me or is that door an access point into the neighbouring property? On the floorplan also it seems to reflect you dont "own" the entire carport?
If I was to consider it I would want to put a roller door on that carport which wouldnt be possible if the neighbours need to access it/ own half of it. I'd also want to enclose the front like they have done.
Any ideas? I mean I could just call the agent :p

Yup you only own the right hand side of the carport. The left hand side belongs to the other half of the duplex and that is their front door.
There might be an option to extend the carport sideways towards the palm trees so that you could separate the 2 parking areas and create a garage

Care to elaborate why you think so? Always appreciate hearing from pundits that are so certain!

    Rising unemployment in WA
Zero inflation and no wage growth
    Population still shrinking I believe.
Access to credit still difficult (especially for investors)
Foreign investment is at a trickle due to the new stamp duty

You really need all 5 for good growth and we have none. But there are a fair few cashed up people which are buying quality assets.

That's an idea! But not sure if worth it.......might go have a browse at it anyway. Do you think there would be an issue with walling in the front yard considering the neighbours have done so?

That looks old. Have a look at Strata plans to see what is actually common property.

Looked on Intramaps is listed as 44/46 and both properties within the red line. Old is fine, don't see why old is a problem? No diff to any other old property

I just purchased a 3x2 green title townhouse in Redcliffe (1998 built) as an Investment property for the accessibility to great eastern Hwy and airport. Positively geared with long term tenants.
It is well insulated from noise. Wouldn’t recommend units or strata in Redcliffe though.

Different types of strata and what is common property.

A house up the street the owner removed a section of lawn/garden outside his lounge room window and had it professionally paved.

New neighbours moved in and decided to park one of their many cars there. Long story short because of type of Strata they are allowed to park there (it went to arbitration)
