PC resolution is whack

    @Simon Hampel

    Was there an update in the last 2 days or so?

    Resolution on my iPhone 6S+ is reduced, see screenshot.

    Normally the website scales to the full width of my screen, but this recently changed.

    I'm using Safari, haven't tested Chrome.

    Update: Chrome has the same issue.

    Hmm - no, nothing has changed at our end recently.

    Is this the same on every page?

    Yeah, it's a weird kind of refresh. Page starts full width of phone's screen, then shrinks down a couple of times.

    But it's random. If I click on New Posts it goes back to normal. Once I click on a thread its shrinks it to the left

    New Post, Recent Post, Watched threads (any of the pull down menu)etc doesn't have a problem

    but when you click individual post is no good, it takes 3/4 of the screen.

    Have you transferred a third of type wage to apple? Perhaps you missed a payment :p

    possibly something relating to the adverts then? Or something in the sidebar.

    @Westminster - do you have adverts turned off? If so, it's not that.

    top banner advert is still on. mine is only iPhone 6S, not +. issue happened also few days ago.

    Do any of you have access to a different web browser on your phone?

    Would be interesting to see if it is specific to a single type of browser.

    The thing that's different between New Posts searches and Thread pages is that there is no sidebar for a New Posts search results page (or any of the search results pages).

    So I'm leaning towards some sidebar related issue.

    Works fine on my Android phone :p

    I just installed Freedom, an iOS adbl0ck3r :)p) and PC is working fine now. It's one of the ads that is breaking the page.

    But if it is happening for Westminster and she has adverts turned off, then I think you're seeing something coincidental - your blocker is probably blocking something else that is causing the problem (perhaps the Twitter feed?).

    I don't have another browser but it's not bothering me. If I turn my phone sideways (easier for old fart eyes to read) it doesn't happen and that's the way I normally read PC on my phone cos it's not a 6+

    appears to be so. The new post etc, don't have the top banner Ad, while the thread pages has it.

    Do we have free Ad day, until Simon fixes it? :D
