... but Ben I don't think some even care whether they get caught out or not, I have done this one to death and they just come up with another lie. So they are lying they know you know they are lying and don't care, that is someone with a serious problem, personality disorder.

LOL, really you need to spread your wings a little they not all bad, some are brilliant and without them I would have got some of my great deals. I would go for a lazy re agent not a lying re agent... that is key:)

I agree. I have had some agents lie to my face. But others are brilliant and get the deal done.

That's definitely PD territory. I'd be giving them a wide birth.

Actually if I perceive someone to be gullible I lie. I can't help myself. But usually, once I'm satisfied I have sucked the person in, I come clean. However, if they believe something completely ridiculous I just let them believe. For example when someone asked me why I was in Warrnambool and I responded that I was a Marine Biologist there to train whales (because they can do tricks apparently). Or the time I told someone I was rich industrialist, philanthropist and bicyclist (line from Seinfeld). Well if you're silly enough to believe that and ask questions you're in for a pretty wild and outlandish story. I also seem to do it in response to boring or mundane questions.

I'll put my hand up and say I do this too.
Often it's so outlandish that people know it's just silly though.

Do you believe someone who says: "I have never told a lie"?

    I don't.

i know exactly how you feel,

I too have deal with a patholigal liar,
think of patholigcal liar one step before "catch me if you can" movie with dicpario

but fortunately was too stupid to not be able to think more then 1 step ahead,

I was just waiting for the day they screw up big time and go to jail or go bankrupt,

    but that day never came,

will karma get him one day?? possibly?

I dont have any advice, but I used to just tell everyone and make sure everyone knew what a liar they were one,

I used to get so worked up over it, but eventually I just gave up and just people make their own mind

and yes, it was so frustrating, when they would outright lie, (and im not talking bend the truth/exagerate)

expiry date? his job is over??

well in my case, he knows everyone knows, but he doesnt care, and forgets about it because he gets away with it.

unfortunately, I dont have a solution in my case,
and unfortunately, they do not have a expiry date.

but I wont cry if the day he has his kneecaps broken
