    hi

the place (deli) that am working for might be sold soon and am going to need part time work on top of centrelink as its going to be very hard and am wondering if there is likely going to be enough work in test and tag to make it constant 2-3 days a week if you were to start doing part time test and tag for yourself and go around to businesses and places (similar to the part time work at current place).

surely with the work health safety requirements there would be enough work.

do plan to do plug and ext cord socket and cords repairs and test 3 phase and emergency lights and microwaves eventually but would probably need to do extra training for those ontop of test and tag.

started to do as much as possible towards the test and tag once finding out the deli was on market because of having to do extra training and it then would spread costs out a bit.

because am probably not going to have the time to do extra training before am wondering because of likely being out of work whether the only option would be to start the test and tag thing and just offer test and tag to start with and once started then do extra training as money allows and then offer extra services bit by bit.

have done a test and tag training through tafe sa in 2005 and do eventually plan to redo that with that being one of the training and bought a secondhand wavecom tnt el off gumtree but machine may need calibrating and because am not going to be able to afford both am wondering wether the calibration is more important and if its ok to use the old training for now if you check the as3760.

do have or can get as3760 and have a copy of as5761 as well and with the tafe sa training it doesnt have or cant find the id number and cant find certificate and hoping to get replacement certificate from tafe sa but appliance testing supplies recon minimum to put on tag id the item and test date and test due and person resting.

what insurances if any would you need and would you need it all straight away.

if doing it part time how would it work with tax if using a abn number.

how would you get and build customers to make it constant and would that plus the extra training for extra test and tag services be enough or would you have to add something different as well.

if someone was to start that part time for themselves would there be problems with centrelink or is it the usual you can earn a certain amount before it gets reduced but income must be reported.

when reporting income would you have to put your name or put clients name in the work place name when you go to report, just trying to do right thing
