    Hi all,

A family friend of mine has an eye condition where he cannot get a driver's liscence due to his vision.

He works in the building industry and he needs to get taxis or ubers to and from the job site or his boss's house every day.

Is there anyway he can claim this as a deduction, he is a sub contractor in Victoria

Travel isn't deductible in unless from one job to another

    Cheers terry, thought as much.

What if his boss gets him to fill up the tank every so often, can he claim the petrol cost? Even without a car and license?

That would be an expense fringe benefit.
