I was bored during weekend so I borrowed a "DIY Conveyancing Kit" from my friend and had a good read.
The kit is very informative on what to do as a purchaser.
The kit suggests to use "Notary & Associates" to perform all sort of searches.
One can fill up a "Property Information Inquiry Form" and tick what searches are needed and then fax to them. I noticed that there was a service fee of $80 on top. Why can't one just get search result from them straightaway? It seems so 1990's to me.
Has anyone used "Notary & Associates" before?
    What are the alternatives?
I am wondering if there is any online searches that anyone can just buy the searches online.
Many online search company seems to open for conveyancers or solicitors.

    Thanks in advance.

I have done title searches online and they are immediate and cost little. N&A are just a service provider seeking a buck. Like all the fake US ETSA visa application websites and ABN application sites that charge a fee.
