for my IP i was going to get a steam cleaner carpet cleaner guy in but due to past bad experiences i think i will just hire a machine from Coles and do it myself.
The ip had white carpet with stains.

Maybe just put some sards washing powder down and steam clean it ???
I dont want to hire a carpet cleaner because the few times i had them out at my PPOR they rush the job and dont do it probaly in my opinion .

I always steam clean myself. I do a better job and it is much cheaper. The supermarket has all the cleaning products for the steam machine. I don't bother with the defoamer - never needed it.

With a 24 hour hire you go over it twice. Sure, there are tricky places to get to eg corners and stairs but the suction power of those machines is pretty good. I am always happy in the end.

I run steam cleaning business (don't worry I don't service your area, not trying to get business) but the Coles machines are crap the iga stores ones are actually better. But yes depending on the stain sards does work on most. Nail polish remover is great for grease. Any other stains red wine depends on the underlay. Just a heads up

I meant I do a better job than the few cleaner's I've used. Not saying they're all bad!

Datto, are you lying about only using it twice in 24 hours?

Twice in 24 hours is easily done. As Brother Datto says even 3 times in 24 hours. But stays damp for 3 days afterwards.
