Thanks @Simon Hampel. Sorry you can't make it... maybe another time. I appreciate the thread name update too since I couldn't do it myself.

    Maybe another time @Mumbai.

@Gockie thanks for organising. Yes, I'll be attending and I'm in the same boat as don't know anyone yet :)
I'll bring along my wife as well, I have to as she's my investment partner and chief decision maker :D

    thanks

I'd catch the train and get off at Macquarie Uni station and walk the 200m up towards Epping Road if I were you.
Edit: apparently its closer to 500m from the station... if my app is correct. :(
    Feels like 200m though. :)

    I think it's more than 500m.

Yes... I would be walking around at night at that time... I used to do nightfill at Big W Macquarie for 8 years, finising well after 10pm usually... absolutely no problems... anyway, I plan to take public transport myself. (There is parking though).

    Um...one newbie question please.
What would be the easiest way to know which group to look for?

Look for a group of unrelated people talking about property?

yes we always get a few looks and comments when you go to the bar.

They ask- What IS that group? Look for a large group of multi-age, multi-race people.

I'll try and make it. I can drop people at the station after, if leaving at a similar time.

@Travelbug so will it work if I go to the waiter and ask "I'm looking for a weird looking group that suppose to meet around 6:30 today."?

Haha!. Sorry I was actually referring to the Wenty meetup (where it would actually work!). First time at this place. But I think the group will be pretty obvious. Should I wear my orange scarf? Or my Carmen Miranda hat?
