His grandpa invented the hamburger apparently. Maybe that why junior's so upset with the Americans - the Scotish Americans stole the family recipe and he wants his secret sauce back.

Papa also advocated eating sawdust and didn't need to urinate or defecate - he was so god-like.

You think they will step up and do what? Do you think China will come in on NK's side, or put NK "back in its box"?

China could cripple NK, that is what US want

Check which countries border NK. (China & Russia )

Think they will let US bomb NK?

The cynic in me suspects the US detonated that missile remotely somehow?
Let's see how many more tests "fail to launch" ;)

Why? If you were the US and could hack NK's missile systems, wouldn't you be better off only doing it once? (there have been many failed attempts)

Every time there's a security breach, NK has a chance to make it increasingly difficult to hack their systems, it's clear they're mindset is focused and relentless.. interrupting a few test launches is unlikely to demoralise them and make them give up..

No reason for why; other than my cynical self in action. ;)
Assuming the US did have the capacity to remotely sabotage their missiles; I suspect that maybe it is only since Trump got into the WH and NK started to carry on again that they have decided to take some action....as per the Syria incident where nothing was done by the previous Administration, and now there has been.
Of course; the launch may well have just been a total flub on NK's part.

Read recently that North Korea has alot of precious minerals which could be used but not sure how reliable the information or source is. I am sure that if there was money to be made, then there will be a reason for another country to go down there for 'peace keeping' exercises.
With the way things are going, I doubt you can suppress the people for that long and sooner or later, the people will revolt.

I meant why would you if you were the USA.. wouldn't you be better off keeping your hacking a secret in the even that NK ever actually launched a live warhead/s, you could deactivate them all and retaliate immediately?? I get the strong correlation, but it doesn't add up for me...

Few countries get invaded for precious minerals.. unless they're in Africa.
Economies are driven with energy resources.. that has been the focus of attention for the last century or so..

agree. Unless they were able to mask their hacking so no-one would know?

If you were KJU and your last 3 launches failed (let alone 6 now) since Trump got in, would you not have dedicated teams focused on hacks/threats? There will be traces somewhere..

There's no particularly good outcome for either China or Russia in the current situation. From China and Russia's perspective - would they rather the evil neighbour they know well or the unknown potential influence of the US right on their doorstep should Korean unification occur under the South Korean/US terms?
