They are pretty awesome, one of the best gifts I've ever received.
The handsfree is surprisingly good considering how far away the mic is.

Hehe, is that why you're letting your hair grow over your ears? Nodding, uhuh, sure <music playing>

I'm with blacky re white noise

I had a pair , Bose , and took them back . While they cut down some noise , they also do create some additional noise in the hi spectrum and I personally found that more annoying .

The guy in the store didn't believe me initially , but after I told him where to listen( spectrum wise ) he could clearly hear it . Be aware of it . Obviously for some people it's an issue .

All comes down to how you like your music . My hobby is song writing , I've done a critical listening course with Berklee and have a good audio set up at home , so the quality of sound is important for me and I was disappointed .

They would certainly cut down the constant background noise is a plane and if I was doing a lot of OS flying l'll revisit with a top of the range pair ( the ones I got were around 300 )

Sennheiser are my favourite headphones though review wise BOSE had the best reviews for noise cancelling .

Not noise cancelling, but I've had a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Sense headphones for the last couple of weeks and they are awesome.

Use them on calls at work and home, for podcasts and music on the train - everything I could have wanted in a set of headphones. Highly recommended.

Their laptops are pretty sweet. The medion laptop that comes out every now and then usually sells for around $700 but it carries similar functionality to brand name laptops that cost $2k+

Last time I was at Aldi there was a frenzy for ski jackets! My goodness - I was told to get in early because they were popular....but I wasn't expecting to see such a crowd.

    Cheers

Oh wow. Looked at the tablets they offer. You can't really read on the screen. There is too much glare.

Thanks for the tip, managed to find a pair in Five Dock after ringing around, $15 on clearance. Will give them a go on a flight tonight.
