Newbie to property investment

Okay, so where do I start? I'll tell you a short story about how I stumbled upon this forum. I was on Facebook marketplace searching for sports and outdoor cheap buys when I saw a sponsored ad of Dymphna Boholt's one-day event on property investment. Rarely do I watch ads until the very end of but Dymphna's video was an exception. I was intrigued by all the buzz surrounding Australia's real estate and the expected fall of housing prices this 2019. So I Googled anything I could learn about this influential personality. That's when I found PropertyChat. A member had posted a thread asking if anyone had done her real estate program. After doing a bit of reading, I decided to sign up join my first ever property investment forum. One thing I picked up as I was perusing the thread is that the greatest potential for growth is to make sure you're the dumbest person in the room. That being said, I look forward to learning a lot from you guys.
