Good evening I will be selling my residential investment property on the South Island. I am Australian and its the property is held by a Trust with no mortgage. Any recommendations for a reliable well priced conveyancer? Thanks in advance.

Further, is it possible that a conveyancer will not be able to handle the sale of a property in a discretionary Trust? Can this only be handled by a lawyer?

No direct experience myself, but I've got a close friend that has currently sold and bought a new house in Oamaru. She has also used them previously for other property transactions. She recommended:

    Jan Omnet
Berry & Co Barristers & Solicitors

    +64 (0) 34330621

They have offices in Oamaru, Queenstown & Invercargill and get to Wanaka & Christchurch reguarly.

Say that Nikki Wilson recommended them.
