    need a good tax agent
    that specializes in property around
    the Caulfield area melbourne
    if anyone knows of one

    I would focus less on where they are and more on how good they are with property. Most of my best clients I have never seen or met face to face.

    As per Paul, you want knowledge first location is secondary. Convenience is nice but not a necessity in this day and age.

    Lot's of people still like to deal face to face with accountants, mortgage brokers etc. I thought the OP was quite clear in what he's asking for, a referral to a good local accountant - not to be talked into using a good, non local accountant.

    Agreed ST. I have clients who dont mind skype and email etc but some clients love meeting face to face. It might not be necessary but for some people they like to build a relationship with someone over coffee, have a chat about the economy, etc. whether someone thinks it is a waste of their time makes no difference. It is their time to do as they please.

    I'm definitely one of those people! When I see my tax accountant, I ask him questions about property, tax, etc. So I can understand completely where Ger is coming from.
