New PPOR - Kitchen update required?

    All,

    I have purchased PPOR and wondering if I should do any work in kitchen. No issues as such, there is no dishwasher space. Thinking of extending bench top and installing dishwasher. Should i change the bench top as before I move.

    Other option is to keep dishwasher in laundry which is quite far from kitchen. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

    You could put the dishwasher under the drainer but you lose the drawers. There isn't much bench space and that huge pantry is hogging a lot of space that could be better utilised. Is the laundry nearby? Could you steal some laundry space to enlarge the kitchen?

    Great advice. I'd live there and get a feeling for what you want to change. I wouldn't spend any money on that kitchen (other than slip a dishwasher under the drainer if you need to).

    Is it a bit narrow to extend the benchtop?

    Is the kitchen built in, or based on carcasses?
