Hi, I've been reading many great threads on this forum but have not yet contributed as but in these uncertain times feel now the time might be right to jump in. I specialise in IP and look after the investment division of a very successful SE QLD based builder. It's my brother's building company of over 35 years standing so a very good track record, reputable and most Sunshine Coast residents would know of Dwyer Quality Homes. I've been involved in property for most of my life and really enjoy helping people through the maze of property investing. It also really annoys me when I see 3rd party marketing companies charging huge commissions for providing very little service and often the clients are unaware that the builder is giving them large sums as well and adding it to the property price. Hi, I think the owner-occupier builds will be strong and renewed enquiry is already coming in. As I specifically look after investors who are not eligible for the grant, it's unlikely to have much impact although investors will find it a bit harder to secure good stock.
Thanks Tom, That's good to know - we've been building for over 35 years so kind of got the hang of it by now. It's a tough gig keeping ahead of the competition but the local market supports those who support it. Cheers
