You see some funny things on this forum from time to time, many things seem to be urban myth.

Theft is exactly that, I would not let them get away with that.

the items 'no longer there' certainly did not have a label on them saying ' take me'!
Sadly the outgoing tenants are the kind of people who have/ are undergoing an excellent education, family support, the 'where with all' to do what they want to in life...
