New Fence and Gates

I’m replacing an old hardwood front fence and 2 gates .
I like the look of aluminium slates but the quote was so incredibly expensive for only a small fence .
Any Other alternatives ?
Best Suggestions for affordable but attractive .
It has to look modern and presentable as front of the property .

How expensive is incredibly expensive? Gates tend to be the more expensive part so it might be accurate or it might just be an expensive company and there are others.

Generally aluminium slats are the most cost effective in a horizontal pattern.

I just got a quote for 24m of Colourbond fencing at 1.8m height for $2500 inc GST.

A front fence you may as well replace it with aluminium fencing that is not completely solid so you can still see through to the road. How long is your frontage it can't be THAT big?

Measure it . It’s not long at all . It’s on two sides , either side of house . I’m sure the gates are the expensive part . Even if aluminium slats are a good solution , I can’t afford the cost . Hence looking for economical alternatives . Thanks

 

If you want cheap well I replaced the front fence of one of my investments in Brisbane with something like these.

How much was the quote that you received and what was it for?

Is it a low fence or a full height fence at the front you're replacing? Some photos would help.

 

Well fences and gates can run way past the $15k+ price points so you need to compromise. Either you want the best including the design options or just save money and settle for something more economical.

Its with anything you get what you pay for really.
