New feature: Content tagging

    The latest version of the forum software now enables content tagging - adding keywords to threads and media to allow a more fine-grained categorisation of content.

    This should help people looking for specific information to find other content relevant to their needs.

    When starting a new thread, you can add tags:

    ... you can also add tags to a thread you started after it has already been posted:

    When you click on a tag, you will see all the content that has been tagged with the same keyword:

    ... and if you go into the forum search area, you can search tags and see a tag-cloud containing the most used tags:

    We have some nice tools behind the scenes for tidying up tags and merging tags where two tags with different spelling have been used (eg pluralised or hyphenated) - so don't worry too much about getting things perfect when adding new tags and auto-complete should help when adding a tag that has already been used elsewhere.

    Yes, tags can be edited.
