I never even thought of doing that. But then I don't even check my own. Low priority for me.

Its fun, I do it randomly, people like retired tennis stars for example, what happened to their millions?

I know people who read the death columns in the paper, I find that morbid and weird, but hey they get pleasure out of this, who am I to say they should stop....:)

Surely anything published online would be a guess? I wouldn't know because I have zero interest in this. The closest I get to measuring my net worth is checking my super balance hasn't gone down.

Maybe property investors seeking out prospective deceased estate sales? Could be a good strategy ;)

    I suppose that makes sense.
You hear of these stars declaring bankruptcy, makes you curious sometimes.

I'm not really interested and all these "networths" are likely to be completely fictitious anyway. Just look at Trumps valuations, they range form $100M to $10B...

Sometimes you would expect them to have more given their level of fame or status.
But then your like "oh they are only worth that"..

..and sometimes they are worth much more than expected, for example some Australian models are more than beauty, some are business savvy, they are a brand and some have made millions selling this

Inspired and big thanks to @kierank. Decided to start tracking my own net worth from now on, shows a different story when you look at data staring back at ya.

Yep, I do occasionally. I am curious about which sports have the most money flowing around. I get curious about what the best AFL footballers make in comparison to international leagues, or what sort of coin you could be expecting if you could surf on the CT. I don't really look at actors though.

It's because I have a general interest in comparative statistics for all sorts of random things and I get bored.

I only do a rough projection on my net worth after I complete my developments. I am technically challenged, impressed with these graphs, be cool to have this set up, but it wont happen.

It's pretty easy to do if someone gives the basics. Give it a shot.
If you need a hand let me know

I had to wing some of it but it's pretty close. Purchase prices/loans and dates I already new but had to dig around for info.
I remember the valuations I had through the banks before and after the gfc. Super was a little harder, I could get info for the past 3 years, the remaining I had to use a prediction calculator and use the figures from that.
I started another graph from recent times which accurately assess quarterly from now on. Will be good to see in the next couple years, I'm predicting debt will either rise or fall lol

I also get curious with regards to Singers/bands.... BTW Sting got paid $1.2M to sing 3 songs at the AFL... amazing, he was the best talent that day, maybe I am biased
