I'm not sure where I would post this thread (moderator - feel free to relocate to another thread if unsuitable).

I'm looking at a property that is neighbouring a house/roof full of pigeons (about 60). They seem to congregate on the neighbouring roof and on the property that I am currently looking at. There is some mess in the backyard because of this. They all fly in a group together when they leave. There are also chickens.

Has anyone experience something similar and how bad can it get in terms of pests, noise and mess?

In nsw, most councils got a local order policy also known as "keeping animals and birds" policy, you can make a complaint against them and resolve the matter in future.

When living in London, if there were issues with pigeons, a professional falconer would be called for pest control. It seemed to be pretty effective, but not sure if anyone does that here.
