    It’s good. But I can already hear the objections of the NIMBYs to any development proposal beyond a mega McMansion...

    Surprised by the amount of R60, makes sense close to uni/schools/hospitals, but there is definitely going to be some NIMBYs

    What was the kerfuffle with the draft LPS and council not helping out with it?

    In a nutshell - R60 opposite R12.5. But the broader argument was simply against apartments.

    Went to one of the councils info sessions yesterday.
    The main learning, Nedlands council is on the back foot,
    mentioned they are wanting to add some Nedlands specific conditions to DesignWA, but that would take 3 to 6 months to come into effect.
    With planning approvals, they don't have the resources internally and rely on 3rd parties.
    Good opportunity for developers who can submit early.
