I don't know if it is anymore.

    Clips aren't that good.

Spurs are consistent in the regular season but seem to come undone in the playoffs - there's only so much Kawhi can do.

Houston are ok - but they can't come close to competing with GSW

Utah might be good in two years.

I think both the Dubs and the Cavs will have an easy run into the finals - but we'll be spoiled with an awesome finals series!

Bizarre to see a superstar just crumble like that....he didn't even have Kawhi defending him. Just seemed to lose all confidence.

I didn't know that you were into NBA!

    Cheers

First game of the WCF was a good one. Spurs would have had it if Kawhi didn't roll his ankle again :-( He is an incredible player. Some of his offensive moves remind me of Kobe - just goes at his own pace and creates space.

I don't blame you. The regular season is trash. Wayyyyy too many games.

I always said it, they should split up the competition so there is relegation / promotion like the English premier league. Add a few more teams in, make 3 divisions and give us games that actually mean something and are entertaining to watch. It's completely stupid to have 30 teams and realistically only 3-4 have a chance of actually winning it.

I think this might be peak Lebron we are witnessing now. Insane numbers and efficiency, also good to see Love finding his feet in this postseason. Not a cavs fan but this is just awesome basketball.

Wish we could just fast forward these conference finals and get down to business.

Anyone watch today's game 2 of the ECF?

I've never seen such a dominant beat down of a team. It was bad - real bad :-(

I've been on the LBJ bandwagon since around 06 when I got back into closely watching the NBA and this is by far his best post season. He is faultless, the cavs are healthy and K Love is playing to his ability. TT is incredible too - he doesn't get enough cred. He's made Horford a non factor.

I know the Dubs are favorite - but my money is on the Cavs. They're peaking at the perfect time - loads of rest and loads of confidence and Lebron is playing with a "nothing to lose" attitude. He's already delivered a chip to the Land - now he's just aiming to cement himself as the GOAT

Can't wait for the finals to begin!!!!!

Yeah, watched it. Celtics got hammered. No IT for the next game either by the looks of it. I think the Cavs really want to hurt and demoralise them for taking the 1 seed.

Watching Game 2 reminds me of this:

I was watching Celtics vs Wizards series, and they all slugged it off to Game 7, and then to be completely destroyed/humiliated by Cavs, makes me wonder whether they should just have Dubs vs Cavs games and scrap all other games altogether .....

And to think Cavs is seed 2, and Celtics is top seed .....

It kind of makes the entire regular season pointless when you know it's going to come down to two teams :-(

They're both in a league of their own.

I have to go with Cleveland.

This is the healthiest they've been since they all came together.

Lebron is playing his best post season basketball of his career - he had that one 11 point game but apart from that - he's been an absolute beast.

Kyrie is incredible - he's a magician on the offense. Did you see that move he put on Crowder? Wow!

K Love is playing to his ability - he's scoring, rebounding and better on the defensive end.

Some of the role players were excellent additions - Williams backing up Kyrie was a good move and Korver adding additional spacing helps.

Having said that - the Dubs are better than last year too :-(

It's going to be an awesome series!

    Cheers

So ..... After 2 games, it looks like Golden State is going to roll Cleveland ....

They are excellent passers, excellent inside and outside. Durant really makes a difference, dominating inside and outside. Most important of all, they look to be shooting 3s from way outside the arc, really stretching the Cavs and leaving holes everywhere for slam dunks.

Not sure if the Cavs can come back here.

I'm still hopeful. I had the same thoughts last season when they were down 2-0 going back to Cleveland.

BUT - last season they didn't have KD and a healthy Curry. It almost doesn't matter how good Lebron plays - the warriors are just too good.

It's been a pretty crap post season :-(

    Cheers

Yes the post season is too predictable and boring.

I have been watching NHL playoff and finals and it is a far more entertaining and unpredictable right now!

If the Dubs sweep the Cavs, someone would need to break up the Dubs!

So ...... Season is over. Warriors is now known as the Super Team .....

The biggest difference is Kevin Durant. Former MVP makes the biggest difference to the Warriors. It is almost unfair.

LeBron did everything he could, triple double average in Finals. Even though he has more losses than wins in Finals, hopefully no one shall ever doubt his ability and his achievements anymore.

Nice to see LeBron gave Durant a hug at the end. The Cavs were quite gracious really.
