Narrow facade

    We have submitted a plan for council approval and they have requested to reduce the house width by about a meter. We are trying to squeeze internal areas.

    One other option we are considering is to reduce the facade depth from 1020mm to 720mm. We don't want to ruin the look too much. What is your opinion on 720mm facade on this house? Thank you.

    Suggest you will get better response with the full plan, along with the front elevation

    The council wants you to reduce the width of the porch from 1020mm to 720mm? Why? Can you move the house back 300mm on the block to achieve the required setback?
