Just wondering if we should put petition to start building database for tenant like this. We help them in the first place, providing roof over their head.. Cause the government dont have ability to supply housing

I know about TICA, but doesn't stop this kind of thing. People can change name, identity but not their face.

I want more like dont rent me where name and shame happens

That would be good but I can't see it happening, greedy LL harming vulnerable members of society
I hope they get listed but they will probably just turn to gumtree and look for a unsuspecting first time LL self managing.

There is a thread on here by a chap who has set up a website to protect poor tenants from bad landlords. Perhaps he needs to see this, and diversify.

nup, not at all, who exactly could be pleased by this ?

    I think you need a cruise......soon.

PS While it looks bad and a pain in the backside, I would not let it worry me too much, once the rubbish is gone, your half way there.

There are databases already that have legislation attached on how they're used. This is far better than random websites that defame people from either direction.

Can't see tenants paying to report themselves. Property owners can cos they're rich. :p

That kind of damage can be done quickly -- for example, an adult and 4 children could do that in a week (or less).
