    755 - Very Good.
This is after 14 hits to the credit history since the beginning of time.

    Thanks @Propagate

mmmm, 616 for me, 815 for my partner. I think I'll put his name on the applications next time. Not sure if an application for a $40/mth phone contract reduced mine, but I'll ask for a free Veda report or 2 to check.

A single enquiry for a telco is usually not enough to affect score to that extent

I've been wondering why all my loan applications have been getting canned:

@Rolf Latham yeah, I know a small enquiry like that wouldn't do much, it was a bad attempt at tongue in cheek....

But it was interesting that my partner's rating was that much higher than mine when we have always gone into each ownership and loan as 50:50 and we earn virtually the same wages. Not concerned by it all.

Why do enquiries affect your credit rating at all?

The free credit report does not provide much information, or is this ok ?

Also those who do NOT have DL instead have Photo-ID this appears to be an identification problem for Veda :- (
