    Here's my dream scenario:

    1. Price keeps crashing
    2. Musk keeps spitting the dummy and does something that's completely against Twitter's terms and conditions
    3. Gets banned from Twitter
    4. Tries to get out of the deal
    5. Gets sued and is forced to go through with it.
Won't happen, but wouldn't that be great?

Musk did an interview on the bot/spam issue. He also has an idea of changing twitter to add payments, like WeChat.

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole circus show has been a typical Musk thing to renogiate the price.

Although the contract has been signed at the higher price, and it may be hard to change.

If he gets out of the contract, it's going to cost him $1B - though that may be less than he loses if he proceeds with the purchase with the higher price.

His own net worth will have dropped substantially with the drop in the Tesla share price, which may also make the purchase more difficult for him.

His original offer was around $54.20. The stock has been hammered. This current legal fiasco wont help stock prices

My guess is the deal will go ahead at a significantly reduced sale price. Many here assuming that Musk does not have a case here? The court will decide

Who has more to lose here if the deal does not go ahead? Hands down twitter.

Food for thought - if Musk didn't have money, lived in an ordinary house with 9 kids to three different women (two lots at the same time) and was a simple but smart computer programmer - who tweeted out false promises and conspiracy theories - what would people think of him as a person?

    Personally, I'm very unimpressed

I also know people that have quietly, and humbly, made great intellectual and societal leaps and breakthru's without being arrogant or narcissistic about it. Being intelligent (and rich) doesn't make him admirable as a person
