I haven't used this site but it seems a good idea to compare the commissions, etc. However, if I haven't misunderstood how it works, the initial quote will be very inaccurate as the agents won't even know the property address when providing the quote.
Oh man, I kinda hate it. It's just driven by fees really. Has nothing to do with service etc etc. don't get me wrong, fees are important but that site shifts all the focus to fees, forget about marketing and forget about what the best strategy would be.. But I'm very biased
Fees would be the major differentiator that people see. But in this scenario, you just need to look like you offer the best. Remember people normally go for the middle price so that is where you can focus your attention on. Don't waste time on the bargain hunters and focus on the real prospects. It's still an avenue for extra business so we can either lose out on the potential business or take advantage of it.
I have this conversation regularly with buyers - and some will always choose on fees. I consistently suggest that quality is a larger determinant of net cash flow than fees to my clients. IE you get what you pay for (and sometimes less). A bad PM will cost thousands in the long run. @TraceySeghabi is new here but one of the good ones in Wgong I have seen her work.
Also be mindful that they website might get a % of the fees which means the agents need to up their price so they get paid the same or will be less interested in your property as they are not getting the same amount.
Not a fan of models like this for reasons above, as well as the fact that you seem to be limited as to one particular agent within an office. Taking a look at some in the areas we work in there are some agents in offices that I'd choose over others, but this site doesn't allow an option here. Again, choosing someone on fees alone is never smart as so many other variables need to be taken into consideration. Skills, results, marketing and sales strategies, communication etc.
