Just watched Star Wars and jumunji

Jumanji was funny - just cracked me up the whole way, loved it.

Star was - just very strange, it belongs in the 70s

Agree, it was quite funny actually. We didn't see part one either but had no trouble understanding the plot. We watched it at this cool little boutique cinema in Queenstown last week. Worth the watch for a lighthearted evening activity.

    7/10 for us.

We saw the Shape of Water.

My wife liked it much more than I did. She thought it nice, sweet, romantic, a bit of humour.

I partially agree, but I find it difficult to get emotionally attached to a fish man.

Academy Award winner. My wife's tastes agree more with the academy than mine.

I just watch movies so that I’m left alone for a couple of hours without mum mum mum mum mum or constant calls from clients!

7.8 on IMDb, 79% user score on rotten tomatoes.

I've heard it said that it has a really big cultural appeal to the African American community. Some of them can relate to it in a way they never have with the majority of Hollywood movies, even those with a black cast.

I've grown weary of Marvel/superhero movies. I can't tell the difference.

I have not been too impressed with recent movie releases in general

Last great movie I saw was The Big Short

I watched "The Cure For Wellness" on my last flight. I hate scary movies but I liked this, more of a thriller, sort of similar to Shutter Island (Leonardo DIcaprio). I also watched "Get Out". I liked them both, and Im a woman who doesn't usually watch stuff like that. Watched The Greatest Showman with the Kids, really liked it, I hate musicals but really liked this.

    I enjoyed Molly's Game.

It has 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, I think I'd rate it in the high 80s.

I also enjoyed The Shape of Water. It wasn't a riveting film, but it was entertaining and cute.
