Just a timely reminder its Mothers Day on Sunday.

    Any present suggestions?

It will be the usual taking mum to restaurant and flowers.

    Happy Mother's Day MTR.
My kids are out shopping right now. I was not allowed to go.

However I have already ordered myself a brand new car due to arrive mid May a gift from my business to me :)

Gonna surprise my mum with a massage package and then sending her and dad to dinner via limousine taking them and bringing them back home. She deserves a lot more but little gifts do help express our gratitude.

Have posted prezzie over to Perth already as it seems like they use camels for postage there.

I gave my mum an early present by flying from Adelaide to Sydney then driving up to Newcastle on Sunday for the day.

I bought the other half a new camera on behalf of our 4yo son, since he smashed hers a little while back. We have another due in 2 weeks so I'm sure there will be plenty of pick being taken.

If you're going to have another camera in 2 weeks why are you buying one this weekend?

About 15 years ago my son gave me a mothers day present he made at school. It was a handmade cardboard box all sealed up and tied with a ribbon. It had a poem ..I cant remember the words exactly but it was about the box being filled with love. The box is long gone, but was one of the nicest things to receive as a mum. Its not about presents, its about being appreciated and loved by those closest to you.

I find mother's day very hard. I lost my mum about 5 years ago. You see other families enjoying being with their mums and it magnifies that mine isnt here. I miss her very much.

My boys moved out of home in February. That is present enough. I do miss the one who likes to cook three nights a week, though.
