    You are absolutely right.
But, the only time I would buy one of these is when I could theoretically drop the cash without a dent in my net worth. At 4% interest rates, I wouldn't drop the cash, but if I could.
This will probably never happen for me, but that's ok.

    Last time I flew:

Me (looking around): "Where do I put my bags?"

Flight guy: "Sir, this is first class. Put them wherever you want".

(I got this on points. I lost an equal number of points with my wife when she flew alone to the UK three weeks later with both kids in economy. *cough*
    ).

First world problems: who gets to sit where?

Travel is a business expense for me (research trips) but not for the spouse...

A rich person is one that can pay for his lifestyle without working in my opinion, that could be 30k a year passive income, or 150k income, but if he can live to the standards he wants without actually working, that's a rich person. That person just created more time for them self.

My (self funded) retired parents have more money coming in than going out so they seem to be becoming wealthier during retirement. I suppose it could all change once they get past 80 or so but for now, they are very comfortable.

Ghost Rider is reborn! Albeit switching to 4 wheels for safety. Where's the Police Pursuit chopper when needed?

    Far out, that's heavy!
I had one encounter when I flew back to Indonesia from Malaysia (I was living in Indo at the time). I mistook my driver for another one at the airport and ended up jumping in the wrong car and getting robbed. The pricks took me to some strange hotel however I convinced them to drive me to where I was living at the time (lucky I knew my way around Jakarta which shocked the crooks). When they saw the armed guards at my hotel they shat themselves, particularly after I explained what had just happened to me...

Expat living in Indonesia at the time. Lived in many other countries but that encounter was the most memorable (crap) moment.
