I'm just about to sign a contract with G.J Gardner for a build, but just wondering if I need a lawyer to check it before I sign? I've only done one new build before, in NZ and I was advised to get it check by a lawyer, who ended up getting them to remove a few undesirable clauses. Does the same apply with G.J contracts? The sales consultant says it's just a standard MBA contract. TIA.

It might be a good idea. Consider what is in the contract and what isn't but could be.

Can anyone recommend a lawyer for this? I haven't got a regular lawyer here.
