hi everyone. was just wondering what types of work people with mild disabilities can do to get money. was wondering because the place that am working at could be sold in a couple months and am going to be out of work and am only going to have the centrelink income at least until have found something else and cant afford to not work . only things that am able to think of at moment is electrical test and tag and small handyman jobs such as putting shelves up or small cleaning jobs and sell secondhand goods. how would you start a part time test and tag business, how do you start other part time business, how do you start the test and tag but add other things, how do you sell secondhand goods online plus take to markets. how would you do it all without affecting centrelink and whats the chance of someone with mild disabilities being able to get other part time work because you can earn so much before it affects it but must be reported. just not going to be able to afford to not work and survive on just centrelink. any helpful suggestions would be great. thanks
What type of work are you doing now? Do you have any transferrable skills? Are you able to drive? Would that type of role be available on a P/t basis with a construction company, construction electrician, plant hire companies?
You've asked similar here before and not had much of a response @daisy20202-7 I can't help but wonder if there's a better forum for the types of questions you ask?
I would try the small business service in your State for guidance. Adviser finder | business.gov.au Even if the deli is sold, the new owners may want to keep you employed. Good luck!
