Survived pregnancy to have a healthy, gorgeous second child.
    Moved states.
Got in five weeks in US/Canada including some cycle touring and family visits.

Next year - use year of maternity leave to figure out what I want to be when I grow up :)

Survived a year of many 'firsts' - My first year in promotion position, husband's first year in new job, first year as a high school parent, youngest's first year of school and first time property investor in 2 properties.

Finally made the extremely hard move to sell our PPoR to save from bankruptcy...moved into a rental at the start of Nov.

On the plus side; got to clear every single debt, still keep the business and one IP, and used a bit of the over-flow cash from the PPoR sale to take the family to the Gold Coast/Theme Parks for 10 days earlier this month.

I don't know about that @JDP1 - my job seems to have increased responsibilities and stress levels every year, without the higher salary (and I'm certainly not held in any higher regard).

Mind if I just coast along on your coat tails for awhile? I can live vicariously through your success :)

That makes you a legend in my books, @Heinz57 - I didn't think anyone ever managed to do that (and certainly can't still claim it in November!). Great work!

Don't grow up - then you can avoid all forms of responsibility and accountability. Easy.

    Honestly can't think of anything.

This is probably the first year in a while which I've been really lazy and didn't push much, which is very disappointing to myself.
Energy levels have been really low this year.

Business sales are well up though, so I guess that's something, but it's all due to previous years efforts.
Did nothing with property either, but growth has been good.
Gained maybe a couple mil from biz and property, but still don't see that as accomplishing anything really, as most of the hard work was done in previous years.
I think I'm at the bottom of my productive cycle at the moment, should snap out of it soon.
Or, maybe should just stop pushing for a while and try to enjoy life a little more.....

    - Got a promotion at the start of the year (after only being back in the work force for 3 months after 4 years stay at home parenting)... arguably this could credited to 2014 ;)
    - struggled with the logistics of life with both spouses working full time, 1 kid at school and twins at preschool
    - have done a ton of reading about investment, property, and wealth!
    - grew savings at an admirable rate
    - psyched up for an awesome 2016, with zero day care fees, easier logistics with the kids, and getting stuck in to the investment plan

    Cheers,
    Inertia

Nothing wrong with stoppin' and chillin' every once in a while - we all need it.

Had an up and down year.
After a 4 year wait I almost got my property rezoned only to see the State Planners release a draft strategy that may not support our rezoning - decision deferred for another year.
On the upside, the wait on the above property lead me to take action elsewhere so purchased a new IP with subdivision approval hopefully to be received to day.
During 2016 we will build another IP on the newly subdivided lot.
