Datto, have you been chowing down on the share plate Beef Vindaloo again when you know full well a Smoked Salmon Salad is the order of the day?

Saw a house once, back had been extended so that the old outside loo (which was the only loo) was in the middle of the living area. You walked up the steps to the old loo. House sold for a very good price.

Was watching one of those trashy property USA American lifestyle shows the other day and these open plan en-suites are popping up all the time.

Some-one is requesting it, some-one is also taking their money and saying its a great idea and building it too.

If you live by yourself or have the room to yourself it could work well.

The open en-suites have been turning up on USA TV shows for a few years. No oe ever queries them !!!
This reminds me of the bathrooms with the clear glass windows in many hotels throughout Europe and China. I had to climb in the bath to get the blind down to have a shower without the friend I was sharing with watching me :)

Considering the stinkers I leave, this would not work for me. At all.

This gives a whole new spin on being able to sleep at night as an investor. No margin call could match the shock I'd leave in this room. I'd rather live next to a cattle farm.

I am disappointed it doesn't have a laundry and 2 burner stove in the same room as well.

Despite all the funny comments, the ensuite has bifold doors. If insufficient it would be a simple matter to replace with a wall and cavity sliding door.

Real question is why they chose to photo with the doors completely open.

We have seen new displays where basically it is hidden, but all open, we are split on the idea.

these are becoming more common!
The living room did an ensuite reno and removed the wall and had a glass panel for the shower with open viewing from the workbench
the toilet was hidden but the sinks and shower were visible.

This is not a common occurrence, but reading some of these posts (including some TMI) leaves me lost for words.
