    I just checked and I joined April 2005. I came here after having been a member of property investing.com for a while. I saw references to the "other" forum and eventually asked what it was. I was using both for a while but decided to pick one and I chose Somersoft. It seemed more suited to me somehow. People seemed more knowledgable but I know many still post on both.

    I think what happened with Steve McK forum property investing. com, was excellent for some time in the early days and then it gradually went down hill, quality well its pretty ordinary just my opinion. I jump on it sometimes but not too many exciting topics.

    BTW, did anyone realise that DAZZ was a mod on this forum for a short period of time...

    I think what would be interesting is too view some of the posts and strategies used 10-15 years ago, I think times have changed and investors are more savvy today.

    Investors were buying then to reduce tax OMG, slap on the hand with a feather if anyone mentions this one.... LOL

    About late 2003,and from all the posters along the way,one stood out "Bill-L" ,he was the one that picked the all gurus that came sold their second order thinking idea's then let someone else fix up the mess they left,i learnt so much off that Man,,stay happy Bill..

    OMG now I am feeling old knowing that I've been on this forum since 2001:D and that photo from the pub in the Rocks! - wasn't the first meetup but certainly have fond memories of those days with Sim, Seech (aka Cliff) MichaelG and Yuch (the first SS wedding I attended!) Ruth, Ani, Les, Phil, Rolf, Gee Cee, Simon M, Les, Mark B, Perky etc etc (many of course have changed their handles when transitioning over to PC). How incredibly fast 15 years has gone......

    Also class of 2001 , mayb even 2000....

    Guy in the middle at the end is Ross V , who is unfortunately no longer with us .

    Bill L is still around . I've chatted to him over at Aussie Stock Forum and he's doing well .He doesn't see the point in coming back and saying I told you so , but , he wasn't the only one who had concerns about Steve Navra ....

    Yuch and JP on the left and is that Ani next to Ross ? Has anyone heard from her . Last place she was buying was Christchurch ....
