Hi Paul, would you mind sending me the builder's contact as well?. We are in a very similar position in terms of the work to be done but the builders we contacted so far deemed the work too small for them to bother. Thanks in advance. Bia

Hi @paulF I love how you transformed your space! I'm also looking at doing something similar at our house.

Could I also grab your builder contact?

    Thanks mate

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Sydney builder who might be interested in cutting a wall back 1-2m?

Also, what's involved in just squaring up an archway?

Sydney is a big place, may pay to be a bit more specific (North, Hills, Shire, inner/outer west, if you don't want to name a suburb).
Internal or external wall, single storey or double, floor and roof type ?
Squaring up an arch, if it is an internal plaster wall then its non structual, a plasterer can do this easily ;)

I thought broader would help as most builders travel etc lol

    In the Inner West.

Sorry, I'm hindsight not providing any extra details about the wall obviously isn't helpful lol

It's a brick internal wall, just a single story house. The arch opening is approximately 3m wide
