Even better reason to buy some more lics then before the herd return after future tax cuts!

Only a few more posts to reach 80 pages :D

More posts this year than last, but the burning question is who's going to be the first person to post in the new year and see their name under the 2024 thread in the subforum list for the next 12 months?

Having been there twice now in recent times, will my life be improved by having it happen a third time... ?

I know I'm not staying up until midnight this year, so sleeping in on New Years Day isn't a factor.

    Time will tell.:D

Surely a WA-based punter has the best bet? That person only has to hustle to 9pm to get the honour!

I think that would be considered poor form. No-one should be thinking and posting about LICs at 9pm on New Year's Eve. And no-one should be thinking about them first thing on New Years Day either.

Not that most posts here are on topic anyway.

I think it all comes down to when our venerable moderator can be bothered logging on and starting up a new thread, rather than who gets the first post after midnight.

9:19pm (QLD) and I’m faiding rapidly, no chance of making it to midnight. As I age I’ve worked out it’s best to move our clocks back a few hours, celebrate based on our time then go to bed:cool:.
