The poultry index has soared 31.5% from Dec 2020 to Jun 2021, argo must be tracking this index now :(

I do apologise for that link. If I hadn't you poultry [sic] wouldn't have known it existed and therefore be a cause for your sadness.

    So you still gonna buy?

Notice I haven't asked buy what.

As for me, no cash to allocate just yet. As a result, rather nice not having to care very much.

Food, thermos of coffee and shortly we're off for the day.

Is anyone else watching the BKI presentation? Not terribly inspiring sadly!

I think you may be doing a lot of skipping.
I sold half my holdings after the first 5 minutes! They just don't seem that interested.
I did ask the question "Is BKI in discussion with any other entity regarding a merger?" Unsurprisingly they did not respond to that question.
My only reason for holding onto the other half is in the hope they are.

Good on you @Starbuck001. It seems you gained the impression their heart's are not in it.

I also think that the issue is that MY heart is not really in it either.

We sold an IP a couple of months ago and decided to sink the proceeds into two LICS which were selling below NTA and due for a dividend. We chose Milton and BKI. It was a purely speculative decision as we were just letting time tick over until the new super non concessional contributions levels kicked in on 1st July and were going to put the cash into my super. It turned out to be an amazingly good decision as far as Milton was concerned and a slightly disappointing move with the BKI. We have some left over funds after doing the super thing and had hoped to stick with BKI into the foreseeable future but that presentation left me a tad despondent.

    But Hey :)

An unhappy missus pippen is not the way to achieve a happy pippen household, especially if mister pippen gets the bad vibes coming his way.

    What is work?

Apologies, but what is the implication for this 8 cent dividend?

I believe it means if MLT is still held when converted to SOL, it will be based on the number of shares held, say, 10,000 and not on 10,100 if the DRP applied to the 8 cent dividend. Also means no additional shares to get the 37c special dividend sweetener.

A number not all that impressed with GW I gather. I have never attempted to find out how much the performance fees have added up over time. It would have to be a whack of money.
