    im noticng an increase in Liqour Stores for sale.
    How do these business make money... Do they buy the liqour wholesale or sell it on commission?
    Is there much profit ?

    Just plain wholesale -> retail

    There's profit, but not enough volume; hard to get noticed with all the Liquorlands, Dan Murphys, BWS's around the place.

    A friend has a neighbour who has one. They can barely make ends meet - (with their 7 kids and inner west mansion).

    Yeah there's a few out Mt Druitt way. Constant flow of customers (must be a lot of thirsty fella there lol).

    Only downside I can think of is when that "customer" with a hoodie and a sawn off comes along and cleans the till out.
