Ferrarri Enzo $2.3m :) I wonder if it will become the 'new' F40 but even that is cheaper and already a cult car

@DaveM Your E39 is gorgeous! It's hard to find the 540i in M-Sport for some reason, so yours is particularly nice. I bought my Dad a 2000 530i M-Sport a few years back and it's been nearly faultless, best cars BMW ever made the E39.

This is my 1991 M5 and 2007 Freelander 2, each in their respective environments!

Had an Alfetta Sedan, Sportiva II model - ran well occasionally and was fantastic when it did :) I wish I had kept it and restored it...
Now own a Lancia Beta Coupe

Lindsay!!! Do you know how hard it is to find an Alfetta sedan!? The only one I have *EVER* seen for sale is in the neighbours yard with rust holes wide enough to crawl through. I wish I knew you when you sold it.
They would be my absolute pick of the classic Alfa saloons- reasonable parts availability from similar models, A/C can be installed and they're still cheap (Try getting a cheap Guilia Super!).

Hah! You will probably appreciate this then - someone I met last month who loves to keep his cars in the original spec (no modifications here!!)

That is gorgeous indeed. I love original E39s. I've got a 323 CI E46 myself. Nothing special but still is in good nick and hope i can keep it that way

@The Y-man THAT'S A PROPER FACTORY B10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me while I go and change my underwear, I think I peed myself a little.

That looks like quite an old photo, what happened to the E30? Is that a BBS front bar?

@paulF Oxford green on black, nice colour combo. It looks like it's in great condition, where do you get it serviced? Worx Automotive down there has an enviable reputation for working on BMW's.

@Tom Rivera , I service it at Essendon Renault. A good friend of mine runs the place and takes good care of the car and the wallet while at it lol I'm actually the second owner of the car and unfortunately haven't been driving it as much as i should ... it really needs a thorough clean and a clay treatment too

IMG_4933.PNG Since BMW's are the trend, purchased an m240i as the new daily. It's 2 months away as it's getting built in Germany. Was out of this and an m3 e92. M240i won, 500nm and 0-100 in 4.6sec, absolute weapon.

    I can't remember exact time but "really $@#%" :p

The steering ratio meant almost dong 3 turns on the wheel in the s's out the back, and the 2.3 (before the bore/stroke mod) meant no torque. So really struggled (same with Sandown and Calder!) It was really more suited to beautiful flowing tracks like Phillip Island.

@Tom Rivera - yeah it was back in the 90's sometime - before I got married and had to retire from the track :D It's as I bought it - not sure of the body kit, but had Hartge strut brace front and back, bilsteins, lower springs (barely cleard 10cm off ground - interesting trying to get it into petrol stations). I replaced the 205/50 R15 back to the original 195/60 R14 to get it back into the "unmodified class" for sprints.

IMG_0025.JPG IMG_3139.JPG IMG_3153.JPG The XR6 (manual) was my first car but my current mode of transport is the motorbike, a CBR 250 RR.
Picked her up with 24,000 K's from a guy who had it in the shed for 8 years. Had a mechanic get it running again but recently pulled the carbies out with a friend and gave it a good clean. Runs like a dream. The photos are from a long weekend trip I did from Melbourne to Sydney and back over four days in June.
Absolutely love the BMW E30's though but I don't think I'll be buying another car any time soon as it looks like I'll be going overseas next year to complete my degree.
