    G'Day All,

I have a leaking roof which a roofing contractor has identified as being due to the nail style clips that secure the tiles having accumulated dirt resulting in leakage and stained gyprock. Cost is $1800 to clean and refix with spring based clips that don't cause the same issue.

    Anyone had that issue before?

Not heard of the issue before - I'd be more concerned that there is no lap on the joints of the tiles, if that is cracked, water will penetrate the tile joint and go straight down.
